This month, our team has kept very busy with several events. We held our second Day of Action training. We had over 50 people come to receive training in giving a defense of the pro-life position. Then the following day we took them out to the streets of Columbus to engage in conversations on abortion. Later in the day, we went to the last surgical abortion facility in Columbus to offer resources and help to women going in.
Of course, our internship program is still running at full speed. Last week, the interns went to Life Defenders pro-life boot camp in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. While we were there, Seth Drayer (our Vice President), took part in a formal debate. About 30 minutes into the debate, his opponent said the conversation was not worth continuing and walked out. You can watch it on our YouTube channel (CreatedEqualFilms). I also had the opportunity to train some of the students in how to effectively navigate conversations with abortion advocates.
Day of Action attendee, Hannah, jumping right into conversations on abortion after receiving training from our team. Our jumbotron is back out showing the videos of abortion to the public.
This week, our interns are leading outreach in Washington, D.C. at places like the Supreme Court of the United States, the White House, and counseling women at one of the largest abortion facilities in America. Already they have had two women decide to keep their babies after encountering out interns. Praise the Lord for these lives that were spared from abortion!
Next month, our team is heading to Wisconsin where we will display the victims of abortion at the Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We are praying that many would see what the Democrat party supports and change their views. We are also praying that this event will still happen and not be moved to a virtual-only format.
Thank you for your prayers and support. We are preparing for our fall semester, and there are many unknowns as schools are still working through new protocols in response to the corona virus. Please continue to pray for us, our plans, our nation, and the upcoming election.
In Christ,
Ian
P.S. This month, one of the last abortion facilities in Columbus is closing! Praise the Lord! We have two more facilities remaining in Columbus and are working hard to close them as well.
